Sweet & Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps

These Sweet & Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps are high in protein, full of flavor, and picky-eater-approved. This recipe is quick to prep, and it’s so delicious that your family might just be fighting over the last bite.

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

2 Tbsp honey

3 Tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos

1 Tbsp Szechuan sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp fresh ginger, minced

1 tsp sesame oil

1 Tbsp coconut oil

Romaine or Butter Lettuce for wraps

1/4 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup cashews

1/2 cup green onion

 

Directions
  1. Heat coconut oil in pan on medium heat
  2. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, Szechuan sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil
  3. Brown chicken in pan
  4. Reduce heat, add sauce and allow to simmer until sauce is thick and sticky
  5. Assemble by filling large lettuce leaves with chicken and topping with carrots, green onion, and cashews
